One Forgotten MCU Villain Can Make the Perfect Return in Agatha All Along

Agatha All Along premieres on Disney+ beginning September 18. The new MCU series could unite Agatha Harkness with a certain long-lost villain.

Agatha All Along sees Hahn's main character end up working on a police procedural in New Jersey, seemingly long gone from her days as the all-conquering witch. The powerless Agatha soon crosses paths with Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza), a warrior witch disguised as an investigator who convinces Agatha to snap out of her funk and try to regain her powers. Agatha forms a new coven of witches to face the trials of the legendary Witches' Road while getting back the sass and sarcasm fans know well.

The eponymous title of the Phase Five MCU series references the song of the same name Agatha performed during WandaVision, coming after several name changes to ramp up anticipation for the series. The dark comedy fantasy show is the MCU's second series of the year (after Echo), created by Jac Schaeffer, best known for her work on WandaVision and Black Widow. Hahn stars in Agatha All Along alongside Plaza, Joe Locke (Teen), Sasheer Zamata (Jennifer Kale), Patti LuPone (Lilia Calderu), Debra Jo Rupp (Sharon Davis) and Emma Caufield (Sarah Proctor/Dottie Jones).
