Other presentations include a presentation on different meet grades and cuts, a ribs and caviar pairing and a demo on making homemade butter tortillas from scratch.
Attendees must purchase both a festival badge and the add-on badge to attend most demonstrations. Tickets start at $150 for general admission badges, but locals in certain ZIP codes can buy passes for $100.
The festival, which is produced by the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce, starts with a dinner on Friday, Oct. 25, featuring five Hill Country chefs and five wines and cocktails, followed by a full day of activities on Saturday, Oct. 26. The morning schedule includes Vino Vinyasa Yoga, a family friendly community event and a waterfront brunch, while the Grand Tasting Event and culinary demonstrations run from 1 to 5:30 p.m.
