Gayle King has inked a new deal to remain on CBS Mornings, according to a source familiar with the matter.
Specific terms of the deal were not immediately available. King's deal was said to be coming up in early 2025. She had most recently inked a deal in early 2022 to continue as co-anchor of the morning show.
King has been a staple at the morning show for more than a decade, having helped launch the show in 2012, and she has remained in place alongside a rotating slate of co-stars. She originally hosted the program (as CBS This Morning) alongside Charlie Rose and Erica Hill. Hill departed after less than a year (Norah O'Donnell succeeded her), and Rose was fired by CBS in 2017 amid harassment claims.
She currently co-hosts the morning show with Tony Dokoupil and Nate Burleson.
More to come.
