JUROR NO. 2: CLINT EASTWOOD'S FINAL FILM SETS RELEASE DATE

Clint Eastwood's final film, Juror No. 2, has officially received its release date, though questions remain about whether the film will get a wide release.

Per Collider, the Hollywood icon's final film will release in select theaters on Nov. 1, after the film has its world premiere closing out AFI Fest. Speaking to the film's inclusion at the 38th AFI Fest, AFI President and CEO Bob Gazzale expressed how honored he was to host the world premiere of Juror No. 2.

The upcoming legal drama centers around a juror in a murder trial who realizes he may have caused the victim's death and must wrestle with the dilemma of whether to manipulate the jury to save himself or reveal the truth and turn himself in.

Juror No. 2 is produced by Eastwood, Matt Skiena, Peter Oberth, Jessica Meier, Tim Moore, and Adam Goodman. Jonathan Abrams, producer of 2013's Escape Plan, penned the script. To be in the final film of Eastwood's legendary career is no doubt a great honor, and thankfully, Juror No. 2 is stocked with tons of talent. Eastwood's final film stars Nicholas Hoult, Toni Collete, J.K. Simmons, Kiefer Sutherland, Zoey Deutch, Gabriel Basso, Chris Messina, and his daughter Francesca Eastwood.
