NO TITLE CHANGES ON SMACKDOWN

Like last week, WWE put two championship matches on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which emanated from the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany. This time out, LA Knight put the United States title up for grabs in an open challenge while Nia Jax and Michin duked it out in a Street Fight for the women’s championship.

The result? Like last week, no title changes.

First, Ludwig Kaiser answered Knight’s call and was treated as a hero returning home. Indeed, the fans in Berlin made him a babyface for the night and, in turn, Knight a heel. It didn’t do anything to affect the outcome of the match, as Knight hit the Blunt Force Trauma and scored the pinfall victory to retain.

YEAH.

Later, Nia Jax kept her women’s championship by defeating Michin in a Street Fight. They once again teased out Tiffany Stratton cashing in her Money in the Bank contract but a returning Bayley kept her busy enough and left Jax to score the pinfall victory.
