WHAT'S IN THE RHODE ISLAND BUILDING AT THE BIG E FAIR? PLENTY OF THESE RHODY FAVORITES

It's Big E time in New England. Our regional county fair, The Eastern States Exposition, began on Friday and runs until Sept. 29 if you are so inclined for a fun road trip to visit West Springfield, Massachusetts. Walking the Avenue of States is highly recommended.

That's where you can enjoy the best that each state has to offer, with a short walk between buildings. You can have maple products and cider slushies in Vermont and a giant baked potato in Maine. Massachusetts has a pierogi cafe and Connecticut has New Haven-style pizza while New Hampshire has maple cotton candy.

Then there's the Rhode Island building, a beauty to be sure and filled with deliciousness.
